How do I travel from Dubai to Khasab Musandam without a car? As yet there is no public transportation from Dubai to Khasab Oman, you have to rely on other options. Ahlam Musandam Tours operates a daily transfer service from UAE to Khasab Musandam. Is it worth visiting Khasab Musandam? Khasab Musandam Oman is only a few hour’s drive from Dubai (U.A.E) and it is one of the best moods changing and dreamy days out in addition it’s the very best pocket-friendly travel spot too. Khasab is well known as the Norway of Arabia and its beauty is the turquoise sea & craggy white Steep desolate mountains rising out of the sea besides that Khor al Najd is a stunning sea view point overlooking the Indian Ocean, the impressive mountains of Musandam Jebel Al Harim the highest peak of the Musandam Peninsula at 2,087 meters above sea level translated as the mountain of women, the Khasab fort, which was built by the Portuguese in the 17th century, the Wadi Qadah with the old Village Tawi, at the end of the deep bay you can see prehistoric rock carvings depicting (Drawing, Painting) Camels, Ships and Warriors, said to be more than 2000 years old. Khasab is the regional center of Musandam Sultanate of Oman and is the capital city too. If you visit Khasab Musandam at least once then it will be one of the best moments of your travel history.

As of now, there are no covid 19 restrictions on both Oman and the UAE borders. the borders are fully open for both UAE residents and UAE tourist visa holders.
How much does cost Oman’s visit visa?
Oman visits visa is 5 OMR and UAE exit fee 35 AED each (UAE residents and UAE tourist visa holders) and can be obtained on arrival from the border and can be applied online at the Oman E-visa website. You can pay by credit card, debit card, or cash to get the visa from the border.
There are two types of Oman visas available
Oman Visa 10 days: OMR 5/-
Oman Visa 28 days: OMR 20/-
Which types of professionals are allowed to apply for a visit visa to Khasab Oman from UAE?

What are the validity rules for passports & visas?
If you have a UAE work visa, make sure your passport and Visa are not expiring in the next 90 days from your tour date. A minimum of 90 days of passport validity from the tour date is required for tourists as well.
UAE Single visa holders will get an on-arrival visa?
UAE Single visa holders cannot cross the border, if you cross the border your UAE visa will be canceled
Is it a dependent (sponsored) visa holder who can cross the border without a sponsor?
Are you travelling with a dependent (Sponsored) visa? If so, the sponsor is mandatory to cross the border, without a sponsor, you will not be allowed to cross the border.
What should I know if I'm driving my car from UAE to Khasab Oman?
If you are coming by your own car, make sure you have a car ownership card (Mulkiya) and your car is covered by Oman insurance. If it is not covered you can buy temporary insurance from the border.
Can I get Oman car insurance at the border?
If you don’t have Oman insurance you can easily get it at the Khasab border. One month Oman car insurance Charges OMR 10/- or AED 100/-
Is it possible to use rent a car from UAE to Khasab Musandam Oman?
If you have a rented car then make sure you get the NOC (No Objection Certificate) to cross the borders. If you don’t have NOC, you will not be allowed to cross the border. All the car rental companies do not provide NOC to cross borders so ask them before renting a car that you will need to cross borders.
How can I go to Khasab Oman from Dubai by road?
Khasab Musandam Oman is accessible by road from the UAE through the Al Dhara border. You can drive by personal car or rental car from Dubai taking the northern road towards Ras Al Khaimah. The Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed road runs straight from Dubai through Sharja, Ajman, Rs Al Khaima, Sham, Tibet, Bukha, Al Jadi, and Qadah Via Right into Khasab.

Unmissable trip to the Arabian Fjords
The dhow boat trip into the Musandam fjords is truly an
unmissable experience. Ridiculous mountain views dropping
into glorious calm waters, dolphins flanking your boat,
little sharks scouring the reefs, and a fantastic Omani
lunch - Mondays don’t really get better than this!

Excellent dhow cruise
It was an amazing journey with the professional service.
About six hours of travel to meet dolphins, sharks and see
mountains and blue water. The guys from the boat did a lot
to make my and other guys journey unforgettable. They gave
us a lot of drinks, fruit and a delicious lunch. Towels and
snorkeling equipment are also supplied. And the weather is
always perfect! I highly recommend this trip with these guys

GREAT!
This is one of my best travel memories ever. The team on the
dhow was nice and very helpful, food was good and the
dolphins sweet.The scenery was very spectacular and the boat
was perfect for relaxing or swimming. Just great.

Amazing dhow cruise and mountain safari
The mountian safari allowed us to admire the Jabal-al-Harim
mountian and surrounding peaks - the views were breathtaking
and adrenaline shots were provided.The second day belonged
to dhow cruise - snorkling, dolphins accompaning our boat,
traditional delicious food on board.

Awesome dhow cruise and mountain safari
The half day mountain 4x4 tour and the full day dhow
tour. They were both excellent. On the mountain tour we saw
some amazing views travelling up the Jabal-al-Harim
mountain, a beautiful farm high in the mountain, and fossils
in the rocks from when the mountain was below the sea
surface

Great tour!
We have been in Oman en Khasab in
April 2017. We had a great time! Eldho was taking care of
everything.The trip was amazing.Good food, good company and
saw dolphins! It was a great week! Love to be back!

The boat was roomy and comfortable, we were served

Amazing moment
I’ve never seen dolphins before this day. It was a
really peaceful and quiet cruise and most of all, we saw
many dolphins in their own natural environment. The food on
the dhow was good. I highly recommend.
